Dona Ana revegetation enclosure. August 17, 1937
Dona Ana revegetation enclosure, looking west along south side and from southeast corner of recently constructed 10-acre enclosure surrounding old Dona Ana enclosure in which the grama clipping studies were conducted. The object of the large enclosure is to exclude stock while various water-conservation and revegetation tests are conducted. This is number 1 of a series of 12 pictures taken immediately after the 10-acre enclosure was fenced. Three views were taken from each corner of the enclosure. They will serve as a photographic survey of the area before treatment. Loborers have started to construct crescents stock enclosure for water conservation/revegetation studies.
