Chamiza

Mesquite sandhill artificial revegetation enclosure, just south of plot J, outside, view illustrates what three years of protection will accomplish on potentially good chamiza lands. Note good stand of young chamiza plants beyond fence in enclosure and a few chamiza plants on the outside of the fence. Both areas received some runoff. Note the young chamiza plant near the hat.
