Grasses

Pasture 9 near boundary of reserve, thrifty growth of grasses in pasture 9 during 1936 season. This pasture received more rain than was registered at West Well gauge. The grasses in order of abundance are black grama, mesa dropseed, and spike dropseed. Seeds of black grama were collected in this area in 1936. Same as photo number 338720.
