Drymaria experimental enclosure, plot number 5 (1935), view from east side of plot looking west northwest. Plot treated by furrowing and addition of 3 inches of seed bearing sandy soil to bottom of furrows. The vegetation within the plot offers a strong contrast with the barren aspect outside of the plot.
