Wind erosion

Jornada number 20, clay soil denuded by sand dune. Denuded adobe clay soil with a terrace scarplet in the background. The wind has worked in front of the terrace, sweeping out the sediment until the surface is bare, at the same time depositing sand on top of the terrace. Original photo number 239398.
