Micro-relief is expressed by shallow sheet removal and low accumulations around plant. The soil is a shallow gray sandy semi-desert type with an extremely hard cemented caliche which has a dense semi-crystalline pavement separating it from the upper earthly layers of the profile; depth to the caliche layer is 15 inches.
