Caption | View of gully twenty to twenty-five feet deep in canyon about a mile west of Rhodes Pass in the San Andres Mountains, Socorro County, New Mexico. Close grazing of the area at the left has resulted in a light invasion of snakeweed. While the area at the right, not being subjected to such intensive grazing, supports an excellent stand of almost pure grass. Original Photo Number 357526. |
